My Life Story

BRIAN PIPKIN

My name is Brian Pipkin and I am from California. I am 19 years old and I graduated from high school in 1996. I joined YWAM about six months after graduation. I was raised in a Christian home and my mom was a strong Christian woman. I never really had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ even though I went to church and did all of the things church people did. I sang praise songs, memorized Bible verses and even prayed but I was lacking the relationship with Jesus. As soon as I reached the age of making my own decisions about going to church I decided it was a waste of my time. For me, church was going to a meeting to listen to some guy talk about Jesus stuff for two hours and I thought I had better things to do. After rebelling against God and my parents for about two years, I found that this world has absolutely nothing to live for. I realized that I had the answers to life when I was younger, but I had thrown them all away. When I realized this I got down on my knees and repented to God for rebelling. Since that day, God has given me life...abundant life. He has totally changed my heart, my mind and my life!
